This privacy policy sets out how Punchard Surveying Ltd uses and protects any information that you give to us and complies with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) which came into force on May 25th 2018.

  • Financial data – payments of invoices 


How we get the personal information and why we have it


Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:


  • You contacted us via telephone, the website or email for a site visit/quote 

  • You visited a third party site looking for the services we provide and consented to them passing your data to us. 

We use the information that you have given us in order to contact you and provide a service to you. We may share this information with the Local Planning Authority as part of you planning application. To a contractors/surveyors/structural engineers if you ask us to provide you with quotes. 


Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

We require this information in order to provide you with the services you require and in particular for the following reasons:

  • Internal record keeping

  • Postal and email correspondence

  • Occasionally we may send emails regarding services which we think you may find interesting

In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard any data we collect. Access to your information is strictly limited to staff who have a legitimate need to access it to perform their normal duties.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
